This photograph was taken from the bottom of Knox Gorge in Karijini National Park. At a depth of over 300 meters it proved to be an extremely difficult image to capture with bright sunlight at the top and almost night conditions at the bottom.  A long exposure was used to bring out the true colours and texture of the rock also giving the water its molten lava appearance.
